‘I will make a permanent covenant with them:  I will never turn away from doing good to them, and I will put fear of me in their hearts so that they will never again turn away from me.

The sceptre will not depart from Judah or the staff from between his feet until he whose right it is comes  , and the obedience of the peoples belongs to him.


He said, ‘If you will carefully obey the Lord your God, do what is right in his sight, pay attention to his commands, and keep all his statutes, I will not inflict any illnesses on you that I inflicted on the Egyptians. For I am the Lord who heals you.’


Now, please bless your servant’s house so that it will continue before you for ever. For you, Lord God, have spoken, and with your blessing your servant’s house will be blessed for ever.


Keep my commands and live, and guard my instructions as you would the pupil of your eye.
