You led them with a pillar of cloud by day, and with a pillar of fire by night, to illuminate the way they should go.

The glory of the Lord settled on Mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it for six days. On the seventh day he called to Moses from the cloud.


For look, darkness will cover the earth, and total darkness the peoples; but the Lord will shine over you, and his glory will appear over you.
