Be ashamed, Sidon, the stronghold of the sea, for the sea has spoken: ‘I have not been in labour or given birth. I have not raised young men or brought up young women.’

You are to say, “This is what the Lord God says: Look! I am against you, Sidon, and I will display my glory within you. They will know that I am the Lord when I execute judgements against her and demonstrate my holiness through her.
