Friends, do not avenge yourselves; instead, leave room for God’s wrath, because it is written, Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay,   , says the Lord.


And now don’t be grieved or angry with yourselves for selling me here, because God sent me ahead of you to preserve life.

Vengeance and retribution belong to me.  , In time their foot will slip, for their day of disaster is near, and their doom is coming quickly.’


His brothers also came to him, bowed down before him, and said, ‘We are your slaves! ’


You planned evil against me; God planned it for good to bring about the present result #– #the survival of many people.
