He said about Benjamin: The Lord’s beloved rests  securely on him. He  shields him all day long, and he rests on his shoulders.


A people rise up like a lioness; they rouse themselves like a lion. They will not lie down until they devour the prey and drink the blood of the slain.


The blessings of your father excel the blessings of my ancestors and  the bounty of the ancient hills.  , May they rest on the head of Joseph, on the brow of the prince of his brothers.


These are the tribes of Israel, twelve in all, and this is what their father said to them. He blessed them, and he blessed each one with a suitable blessing.


The descendants of Benjamin:  according to their family records by their clans and their ancestral families, counting the names of those twenty years old or more, everyone who could serve in the army,
