Look, I am with you and will watch over you wherever you go. I will bring you back to this land,  for I will not leave you until I have done what I have promised you.’

No one will be able to stand against you as long as you live.  I will be with you, just as I was with Moses. I will not leave you or abandon you.


Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be afraid, for I am your God. I will strengthen you; I will help you; I will hold on to you with my righteous right hand.


They will fight against you but never prevail over you,  since I am with you to rescue you.’  This is the Lord’s declaration.

May the Lord our God be with us as he was with our ancestors. May he not abandon us or leave us

For the training of the body has limited benefit,  but godliness is beneficial in every way, since it holds promise for the present life and also for the life to come.


God is not a man, that he might lie, or a son of man, that he might change his mind. Does he speak and not act, or promise and not fulfil?

The Lord is the one who will go before you.  He will be with you; he will not leave you or abandon you.  Do not be afraid or discouraged.’


After Rachel gave birth to Joseph, Jacob said to Laban, ‘Send me on my way so that I can return to my homeland.


then I will remember my covenant with Jacob. I will also remember my covenant with Isaac and my covenant with Abraham, and I will remember the land.


For their sake I will remember the covenant with their ancestors, whom I brought out of the land of Egypt in the sight of the nations to be their God; I am the Lord.’


but rather, “As the Lord lives who brought the Israelites from the land of the north  and from all the other lands where he had banished them.” For I will return them to their land that I gave to their ancestors.
