You will eat bread by the sweat of your brow until you return to the ground, since you were taken from it. For you are dust, and you will return to dust.’
But the cowards, faithless, detestable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars #– #their share will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulphur, which is the second death.’
For all who rely on the works of the law are under a curse, because it is written, Everyone who does not do everything written in the book of the law is cursed. ,
If anyone sees a fellow believer committing a sin that doesn’t lead to death, he should ask, and God will give life to him #– #to those who commit sin that doesn’t lead to death. There is sin that leads to death. I am not saying he should pray about that.
Although they know God’s just sentence #– #that those who practise such things deserve to die , #– #they not only do them, but even applaud , others who practise them.
And he said to the man, ‘Because you listened to your wife and ate from the tree about which I commanded you, “Do not eat from it”: The ground is cursed because of you. You will eat from it by means of painful labour all the days of your life.
Don’t you know that if you offer yourselves to someone as obedient slaves, you are slaves of that one you obey #– #either of sin leading to death or of obedience leading to righteousness?
If I say to the wicked, “Wicked one, you will surely die,” but you do not speak out to warn him about his way, that wicked person will die for his iniquity, yet I will hold you responsible for his blood.

The Lord God caused to grow out of the ground every tree pleasing in appearance and good for food, including the tree of life in the middle of the garden, as well as the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.
Blessed and holy is the one who shares in the first resurrection! The second death has no power over them, but they will be priests of God and of Christ, and they will reign with him for a thousand years.
When he finished the address the Lord had commanded him to deliver to all the people, immediately the priests, the prophets, and all the people took hold of him, yelling, ‘You must surely die!
