‘As for me, here is my covenant with you: you will become the father of many nations.


God also said to him, ‘I am God Almighty.  Be fruitful and multiply.  A nation, indeed an assembly of nations, will come from you,  and kings will descend from you.  ,


I will bless her; indeed, I will give you a son by her.  I will bless her, and she will produce nations; kings of peoples will come from her.’


Powerful kings have also ruled over Jerusalem and exercised authority over the whole region west of the River Euphrates, and tribute, duty, and land tax were paid to them.


As for Ishmael, I have heard you. I will certainly bless him; I will make him fruitful and will multiply him greatly. He will father twelve tribal leaders,  and I will make him into a great nation.

May God Almighty bless you and make you fruitful and multiply you  so that you become an assembly of peoples.

Israel settled in the land of Egypt, in the region of Goshen. They acquired property in it and became fruitful and very numerous.


‘I will turn to you, make you fruitful and multiply you, and confirm my covenant with you.


I will make your offspring like the dust of the earth,  so that if anyone could count the dust of the earth, then your offspring could be counted.


Jacob said to Joseph, ‘God Almighty  appeared to me at Luz  in the land of Canaan and blessed me.


He said to me, “I will make you fruitful and numerous; I will make many nations come from you, and I will give this land as a permanent possession  to your future descendants.”
