The Lord instructed Moses, ‘When you go back to Egypt, make sure you do before Pharaoh all the wonders that I have put within your power. But I will harden his heart  , so that he won’t let the people go.

So then, he has mercy on whom he wants to have mercy and he hardens whom he wants to harden.


Why, Lord, do you make us stray from your ways? You harden our hearts so that we do not fear   you. Return, because of your servants, the tribes of your heritage.


For it was the Lord’s intention to harden their hearts,  so that they would engage Israel in battle, be completely destroyed without mercy, and be annihilated, just as the Lord had commanded Moses.


He has blinded   their eyes and hardened their hearts, so that they would not see with their eyes or understand with their hearts, and turn, and I would heal them.   ,


The Lord hardened the heart of Pharaoh king of Egypt, and he pursued the Israelites, who were going out defiantly.  ,


So Pharaoh’s heart was hard, and he did not let the Israelites go, as the Lord had said through Moses.


But the Lord hardened Pharaoh’s heart  and he did not listen to them, as the Lord had told Moses.


However, Pharaoh’s heart was hard,  and he did not listen to them, as the Lord had said.


But when I stretch out my hand and strike Egypt with all my miracles that I will perform in it, after that, he will let you go.


But the Lord hardened Pharaoh’s heart,  and he did not let the Israelites go.


But I will harden Pharaoh’s heart  and multiply my signs and wonders in the land of Egypt.


Make the minds  of these people dull; deafen their ears and blind their eyes; otherwise they might see with their eyes and hear with their ears, understand with their minds, turn back, and be healed.


I will harden Pharaoh’s heart so that he will pursue them. Then I will receive glory by means of Pharaoh and all his army, and the Egyptians will know that I am the Lord.’ So the Israelites did this.


and A stone to stumble over, and a rock to trip over.   , They stumble because they disobey the word; they were destined  for this.


To some we are an aroma of death  leading to death, but to others, an aroma of life  leading to life. Who is adequate for these things?


And because they did not think it worth while to acknowledge God, God delivered them over to a corrupt mind so that they do what is not right.


‘The Lord asked him, “How? ” ‘He said, “I will go and become a lying spirit  in the mouth of all his prophets.” ‘Then he said, “You will certainly entice him and prevail.  Go and do that.”


There was no city that was inaccessible to  , us, from Aroer on the rim of the Arnon Valley, along with the city in the valley, even as far as Gilead.  The Lord our God gave everything to us.


And the Lord said, ‘My Spirit will not remain  with  mankind for ever,  because they are corrupt.  , Their days will be 120 years.’


But Pharaoh hardened his heart this time also and did not let the people go.


Then the Lord said to Moses, ‘Go to Pharaoh, for I have hardened his heart and the hearts of his officials so that I may do these miraculous signs of mine among them,  ,


But the Lord hardened Pharaoh’s heart,  and he was unwilling to let them go.


The Lord said to Moses, ‘Pharaoh will not listen  to you, so that my wonders may be multiplied in the land of Egypt.’


Moses and Aaron did all these wonders before Pharaoh, but the Lord hardened Pharaoh’s heart,  and he would not let the Israelites go out of his land.


‘However, I know that the king of Egypt will not allow you to go, even under force from a strong hand.


the frogs will go away from you, your houses, your officials, and your people. The frogs will remain only in the Nile.’


But when Pharaoh saw there was relief, he hardened his heart  and would not listen to them, as the Lord had said.


As for me, I am going to harden the hearts of the Egyptians so that they will go in after them, and I will receive glory by means of Pharaoh, all his army, and his chariots and horsemen.
