The king held a great banquet for all his officials and staff.  It was Esther’s banquet. He freed his provinces from tax payments and gave gifts worthy of the king’s bounty.

Then he  said to me,  ‘Write: Blessed are those invited to the marriage feast  of the Lamb! ’ He also said to me, ‘These words of God are true.’


Those who live on the earth will gloat  over them and celebrate and send gifts to one another because these two prophets had tormented those who live on the earth.

Drinks were served in an array of gold goblets,  each with a different design. Royal wine flowed freely, according to the king’s bounty.


And the Levites quietened all the people, saying, ‘Be still,  since today  is holy. Don’t grieve.’


Ask your young men, and they will tell you. So let my young men find favour with you, for we have come on a feast  day.  Please give whatever you have on hand to your servants and to your son David.” ’


So Laban invited all the men of the place and sponsored a feast.


An opportune time came on his birthday, when Herod gave a banquet  for his nobles,  military commanders,  and the leading men of Galilee.
