For you, Lord God, have set them apart as your inheritance from all peoples of the earth, as you spoke through your servant Moses when you brought our ancestors out of Egypt.


For they are your people and your inheritance; you brought them out of Egypt, out of the middle of an iron furnace.

The Lord will take possession of Judah as his portion in the Holy Land, and he will once again choose Jerusalem.


But they are your people, your inheritance, whom you brought out by your great power and outstretched arm.


For the Lord our God brought us and our ancestors out of the land of Egypt, out of the place of slavery,  and performed these great signs before our eyes. He also protected us all along the way we went and among all the peoples whose lands we travelled through.


I am one of the peaceful and faithful in Israel, but you’re trying to destroy a city that is like a mother in Israel. Why would you devour the Lord’s inheritance? ’


The Lord of Armies will bless them, saying, ‘Egypt my people, Assyria my handiwork,  and Israel my inheritance are blessed.’


He has cast the lot for them; his hand allotted their portion with a measuring line. They will possess it for ever; they will dwell in it from generation to generation.


I brought you to a fertile land to eat its fruit and bounty, but after you entered, you defiled my land; you made my inheritance   detestable.
