But Edom answered him, ‘You will not travel through our land, or we will come out and confront you with the sword.’


You must have a full and honest weight, a full and honest dry measure, so that you may live long in the land the Lord your God is giving you.

See, I have set the land before you. Enter and take possession of the land  the Lord swore to give to your ancestors  Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob and their future descendants.”


Yet the Lord your God would not listen to Balaam, but he turned the curse into a blessing for you because the Lord your God loves  you.
