May peoples serve you and nations bow in homage to you. Be master over your relatives; may your mother’s sons bow in homage to you. Those who curse you will be cursed, and those who bless you will be blessed.


Though Edom says, ‘We have been devastated, but we will rebuild  the ruins,’ the Lord of Armies says this: ‘They may build, but I will demolish. They will be called a wicked country  and the people the Lord has cursed  for ever.


I will sell your sons and daughters to the people of Judah,  and they will sell them to the Sabeans,  , to a distant nation, for the Lord has spoken.
