Publius’s father was in bed suffering from fever and dysentery. Paul went to him, and praying and laying his hands on him, he healed him.

Peter sent them all out of the room. He knelt down, prayed, and turning towards the body said, ‘Tabitha, get up.’ She opened her eyes, saw Peter, and sat up.


He was not able to do a miracle  there, except that he laid his hands on  a few ill  people and healed  them.


they will pick up snakes;   , if they should drink anything deadly, it will not harm   them; they will lay hands on   the sick, and they will get well.’


As he was telling them these things,  suddenly one of the leaders came and knelt down before him, saying, ‘My daughter has just died,  but come and lay your hand on her, and she will live.’

Summoning his twelve disciples,  he gave them authority over unclean spirits, to drive them out and to heal every  disease and sickness.  ,


Then he laid his hands on her,  and instantly she was restored  and began to glorify God.


When the sun was setting, all those who had anyone ill with various diseases brought them to him. As he laid his hands on each one of them, he healed them.


They brought to him a deaf  man who had difficulty speaking  and begged Jesus to lay his hand on  him.


and begged him earnestly, ‘My little daughter is dying. Come and lay your hands on  her so that she can get well  , and live.’


Then he told the man, ‘Stretch out your hand.’ So he stretched it out, and it was restored,  as good as the other.


Now in the area around that place was an estate belonging to the leading man of the island, named Publius, who welcomed us and entertained us hospitably for three days.


After this, the rest of those on the island who had diseases also came and were healed.
