In this way the word of the Lord spread and prevailed.

But the word of God spread and multiplied.

So the word of God spread, the disciples in Jerusalem increased greatly in number, and a large group of priests became obedient to the faith.

In addition, brothers and sisters, pray for us that the word of the Lord may spread rapidly and be honoured, just as it was with you,

so my word that comes from my mouth will not return to me empty, but it will accomplish what I please and will prosper in what I send it to do.’
