He built an altar to the Lord there and offered burnt offerings and fellowship offerings. Then the Lord was receptive to prayer for the land,  and the plague on Israel ended.

Now King David was old and advanced in age.  Although they covered him with bedclothes, he could not get warm.


So I will satisfy my wrath against you,  and my jealousy will turn away from you. Then I will be calm and no longer angry.


The Lord appeared to Abram and said, ‘To your offspring  , I will give this land.’ So he built an altar there to the Lord who had appeared to him.


Anyone who comes near the Lord’s tabernacle will die.  Will we all perish? ’


So Gideon built an altar to the Lord there and called it The Lord Is Peace.  It is still in Ophrah of the Abiezrites today.
