Ahimaaz son of Zadok  said, ‘Please let me run and tell the king the good news that the Lord has vindicated him by freeing him from his enemies.’


Ahimaaz called out to the king, ‘All is well,’ and paid homage to the king with his face to the ground. He continued, ‘Blessed be the Lord your God! He delivered up the men who rebelled against my lord the king.’


Lord, may all your enemies perish as Sisera did. But may those who love him be like the rising of the sun in its strength. And the land had peace for forty years.


The king said, ‘Move aside and stand here.’ So he stood to one side.


Then Daniel, whose name is Belteshazzar, was stunned for a moment, and his thoughts alarmed him. The king said, ‘Belteshazzar, don’t let the dream or its interpretation alarm you.’ Belteshazzar answered, ‘My lord, may the dream apply to those who hate you, and its interpretation to your enemies!
