They will stand far off in fear of her torment,  saying, Woe, woe, the great city, Babylon, the mighty city! For in a single hour your judgement has come.


If the axe is dull, and one does not sharpen its edge, then one must exert more strength; however, the advantage of wisdom is that it brings success.


When the servant of the man of God got up early and went out, he discovered an army with horses and chariots surrounding the city. So he asked Elisha, ‘Oh, my master, what are we to do? ’

She went and told the man of God,  and he said, ‘Go and sell the oil and pay your debt; you and your sons can live on the rest.’


Then the king of Israel said, ‘Oh no, the Lord has summoned these three kings, only to hand them over to Moab.’


He is clearing the thickets of the forest with an axe, and Lebanon with its majesty will fall.


So he went with them, and when they came to the Jordan, they cut down trees.


Then the man of God  asked, ‘Where did it fall? ’ When he showed him the place, the man of God cut a piece of wood, threw it there, and made the iron float.
