See to it that you do not reject the one who speaks. For if they did not escape when they rejected him who warned them on earth, even less will we if we turn away from him who warns us from heaven.

Aren’t Abana and Pharpar, the rivers of Damascus, better than all the waters of Israel?  Couldn’t I wash in them and be clean? ’ So he turned and left in a rage.


So she left. After she had shut the door behind her and her sons, they kept bringing her containers, and she kept pouring.
