Jehoahaz rested with his ancestors, and he was buried in Samaria. His son Jehoash  became king in his place.

Amaziah then sent messengers to Jehoash son of Jehoahaz, son of Jehu, king of Israel, and challenged him: ‘Come, let’s meet face to face.’


Jehoash rested with his ancestors, and Jeroboam  sat on his throne. Jehoash was buried in Samaria with the kings of Israel.


In the thirty-seventh year of Judah’s King Joash, Jehoash son of Jehoahaz became king over Israel in Samaria, and he reigned for sixteen years.


Jehu rested with his ancestors and was buried in Samaria. His son Jehoahaz  became king in his place.


All Israel will mourn for him and bury him. He alone out of Jeroboam’s house will be given a proper burial because out of the house of Jeroboam something favourable to the Lord God of Israel was found in him.
