When you pass through the waters, I will be with you, and the rivers will not overwhelm you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be scorched, and the flame will not burn you.

When others are humiliated and you say, ‘Lift them up,’ God will save the humble.  ,


Though the fig tree does not bud and there is no fruit on the vines, though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food, though the flocks disappear from the pen and there are no herds in the stalls,


Who can separate us from the love of Christ? Can affliction  or distress or persecution  or famine or nakedness or danger or sword?


In fact, all who want to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted.
