I have been a fool; you forced it on me. You ought to have commended me, since I am not in any way inferior to those ‘super-apostles’, even though I am nothing.

Now I consider myself in no way inferior to those ‘super-apostles’,


I wish you would put up with a little foolishness  from me. Yes, do put up with me!


This grace was given to me #– #the least of all the saints #– #to proclaim to the Gentiles the incalculable riches  of Christ,


The signs  of an apostle  were performed with unfailing endurance among you, including signs and wonders  and miracles.


For if I want to boast, I wouldn’t be a fool, because I would be telling the truth.  But I will spare you, so that no one can credit me with something beyond what he sees in me or hears from me,


If we are afflicted,  it is for your comfort and salvation. If we are comforted, it is for your comfort, which produces in you patient endurance of the same sufferings that we suffer.


whether Paul or Apollos or Cephas  or the world or life  or death  or things present or things to come   #– #everything is yours,


In the same way, when you have done all that you were commanded, you should say, “We are unworthy   servants; we’ve only done our duty.” ’


Let another praise you, and not your own mouth – a stranger, and not your own lips.


If I have the gift of prophecy  and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith so that I can move mountains,  but do not have love, I am nothing.


Are we beginning to commend ourselves again? Or do we need, like some, letters of recommendation to you or from you?


For if we are out of our mind,  it is for God; if we are in our right mind,  it is for you.


For if anyone considers himself to be something when he is nothing,  he deceives himself.
