the Lord appeared to Solomon a second time just as he had appeared to him at Gibeon.
At Gibeon the Lord appeared to Solomon in a dream at night. God said, ‘Ask. What should I give you? ’
Then the Lord appeared to Solomon at night and said to him: I have heard your prayer and have chosen this place for myself as a temple of sacrifice.
The Lord was angry with Solomon, because his heart had turned away from the Lord, the God of Israel, who had appeared to him twice.
