If anyone’s work that he has built survives, he will receive a reward.
Now he who plants and he who waters are one, and each will receive his own reward according to his own labour.
So don’t judge anything prematurely, before the Lord comes, who will both bring to light what is hidden in darkness and reveal the intentions of the hearts. And then praise will come to each one from God.
And when the chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the unfading crown of glory.
I exhort the elders among you as a fellow elder and witness to the sufferings of Christ, as well as one who shares in the glory about to be revealed:
For who is our hope or joy or crown of boasting in the presence of our Lord Jesus at his coming? Is it not you?
Those who have insight will shine like the bright expanse of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness, like the stars for ever and ever.
I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.
For if I do this willingly, I have a reward, but if unwillingly, I am entrusted with a commission.
Let each person examine his own work, and then he can take pride in himself alone, and not compare himself with someone else.
