In my vision the LORD took me closer, and I saw a man who was sparkling like polished bronze. He was standing near one of the gates and was holding a tape measure in one hand and a measuring stick in the other.

Next to my sacred land will be an area twelve and a half kilometres long and three kilometres wide. This will belong to the people of Israel and will include the city of Jerusalem.

And so, I will have pity on Jerusalem. The city will be completely rebuilt, and my temple will stand again.

and I asked the angel, “Where are they taking the basket?”

But now I am going back to the Father who sent me, and none of you asks me where I am going.

An angel gave me a measuring stick and said: Measure around God's temple. Be sure to include the altar and everyone worshipping there.
