Then the riders spoke to the LORD's angel, who was standing among the myrtle trees, and they said, “We have gone everywhere and have discovered that the whole world is at peace.”

For a while I was angry with the nations, but now I am furious, because they have made things worse for Jerusalem and are not the least bit concerned.

The horses came out eager to patrol the earth, and the angel told them, “Start patrolling the earth.” When they had gone on their way,

The Son of Man will send out his angels, and they will gather from his kingdom everyone who does wrong or causes others to sin.

That's how it will be at the end of time. Angels will come and separate the evil people from the ones who have done right.

When the Son of Man comes in his glory with all his angels, he will sit on his royal throne.

People will think they are safe and secure. But destruction will suddenly strike them like the pains of a woman about to give birth. And they won't escape.

but he will give you relief from your troubles. He will do the same for us, when the Lord Jesus comes from heaven with his powerful angels

This is what God showed to Jesus Christ, so that he could tell his servants what must happen soon. Christ then sent his angel with the message to his servant John.
