You don't think much of God's wonderful goodness or of his patience and willingness to put up with you. Don't you know that the reason God is good to you is because he wants you to turn to him?

They say, “God can't see! He's got a blindfold on.”

Our LORD, by your wisdom you made so many things; the whole earth is covered with your living creatures.

You are wonderful, and while everyone watches, you store up blessings for all who honour and trust you.

Yet God was kind. He kept forgiving their sins and didn't destroy them. He often became angry, but never lost his temper.

But you, the Lord God, are kind and merciful. You don't easily get angry, and your love can always be trusted.

You willingly forgive, and your love is always there for those who pray to you.

Then he passed in front of Moses and called out, “I am the LORD God. I am merciful and very patient with my people. I show great love, and I can be trusted.

When we see criminals commit crime after crime without being punished, it makes us want to start a life of crime.

The LORD God is waiting to show how kind he is and to have pity on you. The LORD always does right; he blesses those who trust him.

And then you come into my temple and worship me! Do you think I will protect you so that you can go on sinning?

Then I will take away your stubbornness and make you eager to be completely faithful to me. You will want to obey me

that you love to show mercy and kindness. And you said that you are very patient, but that you will punish everyone guilty of doing wrong—not only them but their children and grandchildren as well.

Now you see both how kind and how hard God can be. He was hard on those who fell, but he was kind to you. And he will keep on being kind to you, if you keep on trusting in his kindness. Otherwise, you will be cut away too.

Who can measure the wealth and wisdom and knowledge of God? Who can understand his decisions or explain what he does?

God sent Christ to be our sacrifice. Christ offered his life's blood, so that by faith in him we could come to God. And God did this to show that in the past he was right to be patient and forgive sinners. This also shows that God is right when he accepts people who have faith in Jesus.

What should we say? Should we keep on sinning, so that God's wonderful kindness will show up even better?

What does all this mean? Does it mean we are free to sin, because we are ruled by God's wonderful kindness and not by the Law? Certainly not!

Although they were going through hard times and were very poor, they were glad to give generously.

My prayer is that light will flood your hearts and that you will understand the hope that was given to you when God chose you. Then you will discover the glorious blessings that will be yours together with all God's people.

Christ sacrificed his life's blood to set us free, which means that our sins are now forgiven. Christ did this because God was so kind to us. God has great wisdom and understanding,

But God was merciful! We were dead because of our sins, but God loved us so much that he made us alive with Christ, and God's wonderful kindness is what saves you.

God did this so that in the future world he could show how truly good and kind he is to us because of what Christ Jesus has done.

God is wonderful and glorious. I pray that his Spirit will make you become strong followers

I am the least important of all God's people. But God was kind and chose me to tell the Gentiles that because of Christ there are blessings that cannot be measured.

I pray that God will take care of all your needs with the wonderful blessings that come from Christ Jesus!

God did this because he wanted you Gentiles to understand his wonderful and glorious mystery. And the mystery is that Christ lives in you, and he is your hope of sharing in God's glory.

I do it to encourage them. Then as their hearts are joined together in love, they will be wonderfully blessed with complete understanding. And they will truly know Christ. Not only is he the key to God's mystery,

But since I was worse than anyone else, God had mercy on me and let me be an example of the endless patience of Christ Jesus. He did this so that others would put their faith in Christ and have eternal life.

Warn the rich people of this world not to be proud or to trust in wealth that is easily lost. Tell them to have faith in God, who is rich and blesses us with everything we need to enjoy life.

They had disobeyed God while Noah was building the boat, but God had been patient with them. Eight people went into that boat and were brought safely through the flood.

Then our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ will give you a glorious welcome into his kingdom that will last for ever.

Don't forget that the Lord is patient because he wants people to be saved. This is also what our dear friend Paul said when he wrote to you with the wisdom that God had given him.

But first you must realize that in the last days some people won't think about anything except their own selfish desires. They will make fun of you

The Lord isn't slow about keeping his promises, as some people think he is. In fact, God is patient, because he wants everyone to turn from sin and no one to be lost.

I gave her a chance to turn from her sins, but she did not want to stop doing these immoral things.

Listen! I am standing and knocking at your door. If you hear my voice and open the door, I will come in and we will eat together.
