But Christ makes the Law no longer necessary for those who become acceptable to God by faith.
By suffering, the servant will learn the true meaning of obeying the LORD. Although he is innocent, he will take the punishment for the sins of others, so that many of them will no longer be guilty.
Jesus answered, “For now this is how it should be, because we must do all that God wants us to do.” Then John agreed.
The Law was given by Moses, but Jesus Christ brought us undeserved kindness and truth.
God treats everyone alike. He accepts people only because they have faith in Jesus Christ.
You are God's children. He sent Christ Jesus to save us and to make us wise, acceptable, and holy.
In fact, the Law was our teacher. It was supposed to teach us until we had faith and were acceptable to God.
so he could set us free from the Law, and we could become God's children.
And you are fully grown because you belong to Christ, who is over every power and authority.
These things are only a shadow of what was to come. But Christ is real!
By his one sacrifice he has for ever set free from sin the people he brings to God.
