Revelation 7:1

After this I saw four angels. Each one was standing on one of the earth's four corners. The angels held back the four winds, so that no wind would blow on the earth or on the sea or on any tree. These angels had also been given the power to harm the earth and the sea. Then I saw another angel come up from where the sun rises in the east, and he was ready to put the mark of the living God on people. He shouted to the four angels,

He will give a signal to the nations, and he will bring together the refugees from Judah and Israel, who have been scattered all over the earth.

I, the LORD, will protect it and always keep it watered. I will guard it day and night to keep it from harm.

I carefully measured out Israel's punishment and sent the scorching heat to chase them far away.

Enemies will attack from all directions, and you will be led captive to every nation on earth.

The LORD said: Ezekiel, now say to the wind, “The LORD God commands you to blow from every direction and to breathe life into these dead bodies, so they can live again.”

Ezekiel, son of man, tell the people of Israel that I am saying: Israel will soon come to an end! Your whole country is about to be destroyed

But suddenly his kingdom will be crushed and scattered to the four corners of the earth, where four more kingdoms will rise. But these won't be ruled by his descendants or be as powerful as his kingdom.

After this, the goat became even more powerful. But at the peak of his power, his mighty horn was broken, and four other mighty horns took its place—one pointing to the north and one to the east, one to the south and one to the west.

But the LORD made a strong wind blow, and such a bad storm came up that the ship was about to be broken to pieces.

Finally, I looked up and saw four chariots coming from between two bronze mountains.

Then he explained, “These are the four winds of heaven, and now they are going out, after presenting themselves to the Lord of all the earth.

At the sound of a loud trumpet, he will send his angels to bring his chosen ones together from all over the earth.

He will send his angels to gather his chosen ones from all over the earth.

He will fool the countries of Gog and Magog, which are at the far ends of the earth, and their people will follow him into battle. They will have as many followers as there are grains of sand along the beach,

I heard what sounded like a voice from somewhere among the four living creatures. It said, “A litre of wheat will cost you a whole day's wages! Three litres of barley will cost you a day's wages too. But don't ruin the olive oil or the wine.”

“Don't harm the earth or the sea or any tree! Wait until I have marked the foreheads of the servants of our God.”

When the first angel blew his trumpet, hail and fire mixed with blood were thrown down on the earth. A third of the earth, a third of the trees, and a third of all green plants were burnt.

The voice spoke to this angel and said, “Release the four angels who are tied up beside the great River Euphrates.”

The locusts were told not to harm the grass on the earth or any plant or any tree. They were to punish only those people who did not have God's mark on their foreheads.
