Our LORD, you are King! Majesty and power are your royal robes. You put the world in place, and it will never be moved.

Everyone on earth, now tremble!” The world stands firm, never to be shaken.

Tell the heavens and the earth to be glad and celebrate! And announce to the nations, “The LORD is King!”

and you rule with strength and power. You make people rich and powerful and famous.

If so, then surround yourself with glory and majesty.

God has set up his kingdom in heaven, and he rules the whole creation.

Your kingdom will never end, and you will rule for ever. Our LORD, you keep your word and do everything you say.

You give me strength and guide me right.

Get angry and destroy them. Leave them in ruin. Then all the nations will know that you rule in Israel.

You are strong, and your mighty power put the mountains in place.

You silence the roaring waves and the noisy shouts of the nations.

The earth trembles, and its people shake; you alone keep its foundations firm.

Announce to the nations, “The LORD is King! The world stands firm, never to be shaken, and he will judge its people with fairness.”

The LORD is King! Tell the earth to celebrate and all islands to shout.

Our LORD, you are King! You rule from your throne above the winged creatures, as people tremble and the earth shakes.

Honesty and fairness will be his royal robes.

I created the world and covered it with people; I stretched out the sky and filled it with stars.

The LORD alone is God! He created the heavens and made a world where people can live, instead of creating an empty desert. The LORD alone is God; there are no others.

This is what the LORD says: I will answer your prayers because I have set a time when I will help by coming to save you. I have chosen you to take my promise of hope to other nations. You will rebuild the country from its ruins, then people will come and settle there.

I have told you what to say, and I will keep you safe in the palm of my hand. I spread out the heavens and laid foundations for the earth. Now I say, “Jerusalem, your people are mine.”

Wake up! Do something, LORD. Be strong and ready. Wake up! Do what you did for our people long ago. Didn't you chop up Rahab the monster?

What a beautiful sight! On the mountains a messenger announces to Jerusalem, “Good news! You're saved. There will be peace. Your God is now King.”

Justice was the LORD's armour; saving power was his helmet; anger and revenge were his clothes.

Who is this coming from Bozrah in Edom with clothes stained red? Who is this hero marching in his glorious uniform? “It's me, the LORD! I have won the battle, and I can save you!”

Keep us from being tempted and protect us from evil.

But God says about his Son, “You are God, and you will rule as King for ever! Your royal power brings about justice.

Then I heard what seemed to be a large crowd that sounded like a roaring flood and loud thunder all mixed together. They were saying, “Praise the Lord! Our Lord God All-Powerful now rules as king.
