Your thunder roared like chariot wheels. The world was made bright by lightning, and all the earth trembled.

The door to God's temple in heaven was then opened, and the sacred chest could be seen inside the temple. I saw lightning and heard roars of thunder. The earth trembled and huge hailstones fell to the ground.

I saw another angel come from heaven. This one had great power, and the earth was bright because of his glory.

I saw a great white throne with someone sitting on it. Earth and heaven tried to run away, but there was nowhere for them to go.

Our LORD, God of Israel, when you came from Seir, where the Edomites live, rain poured from the sky, the earth trembled, and mountains shook.
