Earth, you will tremble, when the Lord God of Jacob comes near,

You, the LORD God of Israel, will be praised for ever! Amen and amen.

The God of Israel is fearsome in his temple, and he makes us strong. Let's praise our God!

Your thunder roared like chariot wheels. The world was made bright by lightning, and all the earth trembled.

So he led them around through the desert and towards the Red Sea. The Israelites left Egypt, prepared for battle.

When God spoke the first time, his voice shook only the earth. This time he has promised to shake the earth once again, and heaven too.

The door to God's temple in heaven was then opened, and the sacred chest could be seen inside the temple. I saw lightning and heard roars of thunder. The earth trembled and huge hailstones fell to the ground.

Deborah shouted, “Barak, it's time to attack Sisera! Because today the LORD is going to help you defeat him. In fact, the LORD has already gone on ahead to fight for you.” Barak led his ten thousand troops down from Mount Tabor.
