You have given him blessings that will last for ever, and you have made him glad by being so near to him.

I thank you from my heart, and I will never stop singing your praises, my LORD and my God.

Your anger lasts a little while, but your kindness lasts for a lifetime. At night we may cry, but when morning comes we will celebrate.

There are some who ask, “Who will be good to us?” Let your kindness, LORD, shine brightly on us.

In my heart, I am thirsty for you, the living God. When will I see your face?

Help me to speak, and I will praise you, Lord.

Dear friends, God is good. So I beg you to offer your bodies to him as a living sacrifice, pure and pleasing. That's the most sensible way to serve God.

I am using these everyday examples, because in some ways you are still weak. You used to let the different parts of your body be slaves of your evil thoughts. But now you must make every part of your body serve God, so that you will belong completely to him.

God paid a great price for you. So use your body to honour God.

It is a hard choice to make. I want to die and be with Christ, because that would be much better.

Our sacrifice is to keep offering praise to God in the name of Jesus.

My dear friends, we are already God's children, though what we will be hasn't yet been seen. But we do know that when Christ returns, we will be like him, because we will see him as he truly is.
