Everyone is against me; they sneer and slap my face.

When criminals attacked, I broke their teeth and set their victims free.

Do something, LORD God, and use your powerful arm to help those in need.

But you, LORD, tell them, “I will do something! The poor are ill-treated and helpless people moan. I'll rescue all who suffer.”

Armies may surround me, but I won't be afraid; war may break out, but I will trust you.
