When I was really suffering, I prayed to the LORD. He answered my prayer, and took my worries away.

I cry out day and night, but you don't answer, and I can never rest.

But I am merely a worm, far less than human, and I am hated and rejected by people everywhere.

I was a nobody, but I prayed, and the LORD saved me from all my troubles.

Every bone in my body will shout: “No one is like the LORD!” You protect the helpless from those in power; you save the poor and needy from those who hurt them.

Don't turn away from me. I am your servant, and I am in trouble. Please hurry and help!

Jesus shouted, “Father, I put myself in your hands!” Then he died.

God had the power to save Jesus from death. And while Jesus was on earth, he begged God with loud crying and tears to save him. He truly worshipped God, and God listened to his prayers.
