I love you, LORD! You answered my prayers.

The LORD is my strength, the reason for my song, because he has saved me. I praise and honour the LORD— he is my God and the God of my ancestors.

The LORD is a mighty tower where his people can run for safety—

God gives helpful advice to everyone who obeys him and protects all those who live as they should.

They will be a place of safety from stormy winds, a stream in the desert, and a rock that gives shade from the heat of the sun.

Our LORD, you are the one who gives me strength and protects me like a fortress when I am in trouble. People will come to you from distant nations and say, “Our ancestors worshipped false and useless gods,

He also said, “I will trust God.” Then he said, “Here I am with the children God has given me.”
