Death attacked from all sides, and I was captured by its painful chains. But when I was really suffering,

I am in terrible pain! Save me, LORD, as you said you would.

I will take pleasure in your laws and remember your words.

I love your commands! They bring me happiness.

I love to obey your Law! Have mercy and let me live.

From a sea of troubles I call out to you, LORD.

Jesus said: My food is to do what God wants! He is the one who sent me, and I must finish the work that he gave me to do.
