Then you won't be ashamed; you will be confident and fearless.

The LORD is on my side, and I am not afraid of what others can do to me.

I asked the LORD for help, and he saved me from all my fears.

They trust in their riches and boast about all their wealth.

I am faithful to you, and you can trust me. I will sing and play music for you, my God.

Trust God, my friends, and always tell him each one of your concerns. God is our place of safety.

May the LORD bless his people with peace and happiness and let them celebrate.

But if you listen to me, you will be safe and secure without fear of disaster.”

The three men replied, “Your Majesty, we don't need to defend ourselves.

You will be saved by being faithful to me.

When you hear about wars and riots, don't be afraid. These things will have to happen first, but that isn't the end.

Jesus said to his disciples, “Don't be worried! Have faith in God and have faith in me.

But I don't care what happens to me, as long as I finish the work that the Lord Jesus gave me to do. And that work is to tell the good news about God's great kindness.

But Paul answered, “Why are you crying and breaking my heart? I am not only willing to be put in jail for the Lord Jesus. I am even willing to die for him in Jerusalem!”

Cheer up! I am sure that God will do exactly what he promised.
