and the LORD sent burning sulphur down like rain on Sodom and Gomorrah.

They were served food from Joseph's table, and Benjamin was given five times as much as each of the others. So Joseph's brothers drank with him and had a good time.

and God will make them swallow his blazing anger.

In place of rain, God sent hailstones and flashes of lightning.

I won't change my mind. I, the LORD, have spoken. You rejected me and worshipped false gods.

That wall is the city of Jerusalem. And I, the LORD God, am so angry that I will send strong winds, rainstorms, and hailstones to destroy it.

I will strike you with diseases and punish you with death. You and your army will be pounded with rainstorms, hailstones, and burning sulphur.

Now you will be disgraced instead of praised. The LORD will make you drunk, and when others see you naked, you will lose their respect.

But on the very day Lot left Sodom, fiery flames poured down from the sky and killed everyone.
