But Jacob went to Succoth, where he built a house for himself and set up shelters for his animals. That's why the place is called Succoth.

The land of the Manasseh tribe went from its northern border with the Asher tribe south to Michmethath, which is to the east of Shechem. The southern border started there, but curved even further south to include the people who lived around Tappuah Spring.

Joshua called the tribes of Israel together for a meeting at Shechem. He made the leaders, including the old men, the judges, and the officials, come up and stand near the sacred tent.

Praise God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is so good, and by raising Jesus from death, he has given us new life and a hope that lives on.

You have never seen Jesus, and you don't see him now. But still you love him and have faith in him, and no words can tell how glad and happy
