At harvest season it's clever to work hard, but stupid to sleep.

From the milk of the goats, you can make enough cheese to feed your family and all your servants.

ants, who seem to be feeble, but store up food all summer long;

How long will you lie there doing nothing at all? When are you going to get up and stop sleeping?

This will lay a solid foundation for the future, so that they will know what true life is like.
