David was really frightened and said, “It's a terrible choice to make! But the LORD is kind, and I'd rather be punished by him than by anyone else.”

Moses and Aaron went to the king and told him that the LORD God of the Hebrews had said: How long will you stubbornly refuse to obey? Release my people so they can worship me.

Then you are trapped by your own words,

Do this before you fall asleep or even get sleepy.

Be humble in the Lord's presence, and he will honour you.
