Be friendly with everyone. Don't be proud and feel that you are cleverer than others. Make friends with ordinary people.

The rich think highly of themselves, but anyone poor and sensible sees right through them.

That is a true saying. And you should be hard on such people, so you can help them grow stronger in their faith.

My friends, I don't want you Gentiles to be too proud of yourselves. So I will explain the mystery of what has happened to the people of Israel. Some of them have become stubborn, and they will stay like that until the complete number of you Gentiles has come in.

They kept on asking Jesus about the woman. Finally, he stood up and said, “If any of you have never sinned, then go ahead and throw the first stone at her!”

There is more hope for a fool than for someone who says, “I'm really clever!”

Don't make a fool of yourself by answering a fool.

Don't ever think that you are wise enough, but respect the LORD and stay away from evil.

You think you are clever and wise.

Sending a message by a fool is like chopping off your foot and drinking poison.
