It's better to obey the LORD and have only a little, than to be very rich and terribly confused.

It is better to live right and be poor than to be sinful and rich.

When the LORD blesses you with riches, you have nothing to regret.

The poor have a hard life, but being content is as good as an endless feast.

It's better to be honest and poor than to be dishonest and rich.

A dry crust of bread eaten in peace and quiet is better than a feast eaten where everyone argues.

It's better to be poor and live right, than to be rich and dishonest.

Yet a very little food eaten in peace is better than twice as much earned from overwork and chasing the wind.

And religion does make your life rich, by making you content with what you have.
