Yes, the godless and the greedy will have nothing but flames feasting on their homes,

Such is the fate of sinners and their families who don't know God.

You ask, “Where is the home of that important person who does so much evil?”

they take hold and fall because it's so flimsy.

But your evil enemies will be put to shame and disappear for ever.

and start living right? Then he will decide to rescue and restore you to your place of honour.

Your wife will be as fruitful as a grapevine, and just as an olive tree is rich with olives, your home will be rich with healthy children.

Sinners will soon disappear, never to be found,

Trust in your wealth, and you will be a failure, but God's people will prosper like healthy plants.

Once the wicked are defeated, they are gone for ever, but no one who obeys God will ever be thrown down.

The LORD destroys the homes of those who are proud, but he protects the property of widows.

God is always fair! He knows what the wicked do and will punish them.

Be sensible and store up precious treasures— don't waste them like a fool.

He places a curse on the home of everyone who is evil, but he blesses the home of every good person.

The LORD All-Powerful has said, “I am sending this scroll into the house of everyone who is a robber or tells lies in my name, and it will remain there until every piece of wood and stone in that house crumbles.”
