Don't be a fool and quickly lose your temper— be sensible and patient.

My dear friends, you should be quick to listen and slow to speak or to get angry.

Hatred stirs up trouble; love overlooks the wrongs that others do.

You will keep your friends if you forgive them, but you will lose your friends if you keep talking about what they did wrong.
