We know God doesn't reject an innocent person or help a sinner.

I may walk through valleys as dark as death, but I won't be afraid. You are with me, and your shepherd's rod makes me feel safe.

I obey you with all my heart, and I trust you, knowing that you will save me.

Our LORD and our God, you are like the sun and also like a shield. You treat us with kindness and with honour, never denying any good thing to those who live right.

Dishonesty does you no good, and telling lies will get you in trouble.

Everyone will see through those evil plans.

Wicked people run away when no one chases them, but those who live right are as brave as lions.

Honesty will keep you safe, but everyone who is crooked will suddenly fall.

You will walk safely and never stumble;

Don't be afraid of anyone! Everything that is hidden will be found out, and every secret will be known.

So don't judge anyone until the Lord returns. He will show what is hidden in the dark and what is in everyone's heart. Then God will be the one who praises each of us.

It is the same with good deeds. Some are easily seen, but none of them can be hidden.
