At harvest season it's clever to work hard, but stupid to sleep.

Sometimes you can become rich by being generous or poor by being greedy.

Work hard, and you will be a leader; be lazy, and you will end up a slave.

Anyone too lazy to cook will starve, but a hard worker is a valuable treasure.

No matter how much you want, laziness won't help a bit, but hard work will reward you with more than enough.

Being lazy is no different from being a troublemaker.

If you are lazy and sleep your time away, you will starve.

Some people are too lazy to lift a hand to feed themselves.

If you sleep all the time, you will starve; if you get up and work, you will have enough food.

If you are too lazy to plough, don't expect a harvest.

If you plan and work hard, you will have plenty; if you get in a hurry, you will end up poor.

Some people are too lazy to fix a leaky roof— then the house falls in.

Don't work for food that spoils. Work for food that gives eternal life. The Son of Man will give you this food, because God the Father has given him the right to do so.”

My dear friends, stand firm and don't be shaken. Always keep busy working for the Lord. You know that everything you do for him is worthwhile.
