I am building a temple where the LORD my God will be worshipped. Sweet-smelling incense will be burnt there, and sacred bread will be offered to him. Worshippers will offer sacrifices to the LORD every morning and evening, every Sabbath, and on the first day of each month, as well as during all our religious festivals. These things will be done for all time, just as the LORD has commanded.

Hezekiah provided animals from his own herds and flocks to use for the morning and evening sacrifices, as well as for the sacrifices during the Sabbath celebrations, the New Moon Festivals, and the other religious feasts required by the Law of the LORD.

The people followed the rules for celebrating the Festival of Shelters and offered the proper sacrifices each day.

Although you offer sacrifices and always bring gifts,

When God had finished speaking to Moses on Mount Sinai, he gave him the two flat stones on which he had written all his laws with his own hand.

Along with it, two kilogrammes of fine flour mixed with a litre of olive oil must be offered as a grain sacrifice. This law will never change—

the lamb, the flour, and the olive oil will be offered to me every morning for all time.

Moses was on Mount Sinai when the LORD gave him these laws for the people of Israel.

Israel, for forty years you wandered in the desert, without bringing offerings or sacrifices to me.

Along with each of them, one kilogramme of your finest flour mixed with a litre of olive oil must be offered as a grain sacrifice.

Finally, along with each of these two sacrifices, a litre of wine must be poured on the altar as a drink offering.

Your faith in the Lord and your service are like a sacrifice offered to him. And my own blood may have to be poured out with the sacrifice. If this happens, I will be glad and rejoice with you.
