During the night, God asked Balaam, “Who are these people at your house?”
and asked, “Hagar, where have you come from, and where are you going?” She answered, “I'm running away from Sarai, my owner.”
But God came to Abimelech in a dream and said, “You have taken a married woman, and for this you will die!”
But God appeared to Laban in a dream that night and warned, “Don't say a word to Jacob. Don't make a threat or a promise.”

False messiahs and false prophets will come and perform great miracles and signs. They will even try to fool God's chosen ones.
On the day of judgment many will call me their Lord. They will say, “We preached in your name, and in your name we forced out demons and performed many miracles.”
Caiaphas did not say this on his own. As high priest that year, he was prophesying that Jesus would die for the nation.
